Summer slowdown

The LA Tech4Good team is going to be enjoying a bit of a summer slowdown. A pause partially to recharge and partially to evaluate how we contribute in the current landscape that is dominated by interest, excitement and challenges of generative AI.

Data is the input and output of how we parse the world, including within genAI models. Best practices in design justice & data equity remain fundamental, and we want to consider how we best position ourselves within and outside the AI hype.

So it’s time for some discovery and reflection on our part. If you have thoughts on how we can engage more effectively in the conversation, please drop us a note and let’s chat!

We do have a new name – Data Reframed – and are doing a soft launch in the next period. More to come!

In the meantime, we’ve had a recent flurry of guest articles that we want to make sure you see. We appreciate that our community represents such a wide cross section of expertise, and most blogs center on education, healthcare and creative artists. We appreciate authors' confidence in us to host their writing.
