SmartAirLA Launches Asthma Alert Text

SmartAirLA, in partnership with Esperanza Community Housing Corporation and St. John's Well Child & Family Center, has launched their Asthma Attack Text for South LA. It informs recipients in English or Spanish when asthma attack risks are high so that patients are reminded to take their medication and avoid pollution. They are trying to prevent asthma patients avoid the ED/hospitals during this COVID-19 surge and providing this as a free service to the community.
